It;s okey to be second
The cheering spectators strain to get a better view of the runner in the lead. The runner's face showes signs of pain as every ounce of energy is expended. At the finish line reporters are poised to pounce on the first runner who hits the tape at the finish line. The crowd spill onto the track with congratulations. The rest, dejected, slowly get lost in the crowd. I have sometimes felt like grabbing a microphone and yelling, It's okey to be second. After a few minutes a runner appears still on track but far behind. The crowd begins to cheer again. He/she has completed the run in the best way they could.
Cheer up Edmonton Oilers.

I agree - well said. It's the knowledge that one has done the best that they can in life that matters in the end. And if you can finish your goals in life then you deserve a good cheer.
